Company Logistics
Logistics is a vital part of our business’ supply chain.
Transportation of goods from global to local travel using boats, planes, lorries or vans to transport our goods. Oversea bulk purchases mainly require transportation across the globe on a container ship or a lorry. Transportation includes the collection and delivery of high quality raw materials sourced for our own inhouse production as well as the transportation of our finished goods.
Storage is key for our selection of stock items that get stored in our warehouse before being sent out to retail shops, trade customers, or direct to the customer if sold online.
Distribution to the end customer is the final steps in our logistic process. This ensures the products make their way to the customer in the most efficient and cost effect way possible.
Associated Organisations
Made in Britain brings together the British manufacturing community, united with the use of the registered collective mark. The mark is protected and can only be used by members of Made in Britain that meet the criteria we set to guarantee the member is a British manufacturer. There are similar marks being used by organisations that wish to emulate the success of the Made in Britain mark. These copy-cat marks are not registered or protected and do not provide the guarantees given by the official Made in Britain organisation.
Mission Statement: “The British Equestrian Trade Association works to support our members in their efforts to achieve the highest level of repute, knowledge and profitability”.
BETA was formed in 1979 and has grown to be recognised and accepted as the official representative body for the equestrian manufacturing, wholesale and retail trade by Government and leading riding organisations.
At Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA), our horses benefit the lives of over 25,000 disabled children and adults. With fun activities like riding and carriage driving, we provide therapy, fitness, skills development and opportunities for achievement – all supported by 18,000 amazing volunteers and qualified coaches at nearly 500 RDA centres all over the UK.
RDA is an inclusive and diverse organisation. We welcome clients with physical and learning disabilities and autism, and there are no age restrictions. Through our network of member groups, RDA is at work in every corner of the UK, in our cities and remote rural areas, bringing the therapy, achievement and fun of horses to as many people as we can.
We are a charity, and we can only carry out our life-changing activities thanks to the generosity of our donors, the dedication of our volunteers and the good nature of our fantastic horses.
The British Horse Society was founded in 1947, and we have grown over the past 70+ years to become the largest and most influential equestrian charity in the UK with over 119,000 members.
The British Horse Society is a registered charity – numbers 210504 and SC038516 – and its activities are overseen by the Charity Commission. The Patron of the Society is Her Majesty The Queen.
The BHS wouldn’t have been able to achieve what we have today without our volunteers and members. They help us to fund our work in education, equestrian welfare, access and safety, and they also give us a greater voice when lobbying government on behalf of the horse, and those who care for them.
Retraining of Racehorses (RoR) is British Horseracing’s official charity for the welfare of horses who have retired from racing. The charity promotes the versatility and adaptability of racehorses for other equestrian activities following their retirement from racing. It also protects horse welfare through a nationwide ‘safety net’ that is available to assist any former racehorse considered ‘vulnerable’. In such cases, the charity provides funding for the provision of expert care prior to suitable rehoming.
